it is what consumers tell each other it is.”

I have done my fair share of judging in the past but it has been an honour to be asked to judge some amazing work over the past few months. I have seen some kickass campaigns and I can't wait to see the outcome. Recently I judged Strategy Agency Of The Year and Applied Arts Interactive and I am also the Co-Chair of the Promotion & Shopper Marketing category of the CMAs. No not the Country Music Awards but the Canadian Marketing Association Awards. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces at the Promo Awards next month. Thanks again to Strategy, Applied Arts and the folks at the CMA for thinking of me.

Took home a Gold at the National Advertising Awards last night! Myself and Jarrett a.k.a #TheFUSEIntern took home the top award in the Out Of Home Category for our work on the Jell-O brief. Sweet award and event sweeter that it comes with an all-expense paid trip to the Festival of Creativity in Cannes in June.

FUSE in 2013

Well we are now a lil bit into a brand new year. A 2013 for me was an amazing year. I moved on to a new adventure at FUSE and quite a ride it has been. It's been 8 months full of everything from cute puppies to scary movies. A few highlights from the great work and goals we have achieved in 2013.
  • Our pre-launch for the new FUSE site call 'FUSE Puppies' landed us over 1000 hours of viewing time in just 6 days not to mention some great PR.
  • We launched the new website for the 2015 PanAm Games, a site that is set to break records with an estimated  5+million views per day during game time.
  • The #SLASHTAG creative we created for NABS Canada including a movie trailer, landed us in the Ads Of The World 'Best Halloween Ads' among global campaigns from the likes of Audi, Snickers and McDonalds.
  • Interac's E-Transfer Student Campaign was a hit at campuses and got us nods in both Marketing and Strategy Magazine.
  • FUSE helped bring to life the Canadian Tire Ice Truck campaign which has seen millions of views on YouTube and tons of worldwide press.
  • We are also social media hub for the Kruger brands and this year we have created some great content and the communities are growing like wildfire.
Wow! What a year it has been and 2014 has also started off with a bang! Look for a big announcement on a recent win in the much desired automotive category...Stay tuned.

Just catching up a bit a few months back after splitting from DraftFCB and taking a few months to chill out and prep for my next adventure, I decided to take a new gig. I looked at several solid opportunities I had been offered. One in particular caught my eye. I had heard about the FUSE Marketing Group over the years and heard some great things. Well what I heard was correct. I joined FUSE in May and was given the keys to the creative department and it was time to evolve. It took some time and some tough decisions but with some key hires from shops like Tribal DDB, DFCB and BBDO it is on it's way to becoming a hot spot for great creative including digital, social media and XM. The President Stephen Brown and I share the same vision to create something great and cause a lil trouble (good trouble) along the way. Looking forward to working the FUSE team to make it happen. Looking for a cool new me.

After over 6 years with DraftFCB, I have now left my position as VP Creative Director and lead on the Coors Light business. It was a great run but it is time to move onto my next great run. Will miss the people but looking forward to meeting new people, creating some more innovative work and working on some great new clients and projects. Keep me in mind for your next project or position. Message me directly. Cheers! Patrick.
