SOCIAL HANDLE CHANGE!

So I have had a lot of different online handles across multiple social  channels over the years, ADCD, ac_cd, weircreative, patrickweir and a few dozen others. It was time to streamline that shit! My new handle across 95% (hopefully 100% soon) of the social networks will be 'iampatrickweir', it will also be the .com URL for my site.

SCOTTIES LAUNCHES 'THE POWER OF 10'

FUSE has launched a new piece of content called 'Power of 10' for Scotties Tissues. In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the video features a group of women who have been touched by the disease. Each of the women takes a moment to thank the people who supported them throughout their time. The video is posting 'off the chart' engagement results on Facebook and YouTube...if you call 15,000 times the norm 'off the charts'? It was an honour to be part of this project. Spread the word. BANG BANG BABY : TIFF 2014

I was asked to create the poster for the movie 'Bang Bang Baby', as part of the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. You can check out the full poster on the IMDB link above. Watch for the movie when it hits full release. Saving the best for last, I even made it to the credits.

JUDGEMENT TIME

I have done my fair share of judging in the past but it has been an honour to be asked to judge some amazing work over the past few months. I have seen some kickass campaigns and I can't wait to see the outcome. Recently I judged Strategy Agency Of The Year and Applied Arts Interactive and I am also the Co-Chair of the Promotion & Shopper Marketing category of the CMAs. No not the Country Music Awards but the Canadian Marketing Association Awards. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces at the Promo Awards next month. Thanks again to Strategy, Applied Arts and the folks at the CMA for thinking of me.
